We’ve experienced some pretty extreme heat in New Hampshire this summer. Although we’ve had some breaks from the heat, summer’s not over yet! When we’re experiencing this kind of weather, our food preferences change. We don’t want heavy meals that take a long time to prepare, requiring hours spent in the kitchen. We feel the same way, and lucky for us, our pizza oven is outside. The outdoor placement of our pizza oven is lucky for you, too, because that means you get to enjoy the best pizza in New Hampshire, even on the hottest summer days. What’s more, you can also eat our delicious pizza outside, so you don’t have to miss out on a moment of New Hampshire’s too-short summer season.
The Perfect Char
New Englanders do a lot of grilling in the summer. It’s fun, it’s easy to clean up, and it’s delicious. There’s nothing quite like a good meal grilled to perfection, enjoyed outdoors. Our woodfired pizza captures some of that grilling magic with the perfect char the crust gets from its few minutes in the pizza oven. (The pizza oven is so hot that’s all it needs.) There’s a balance to be struck, though. Too much char and the crust just tastes burnt. But a little bit on the edges and on the bubbles of the crust adds the perfect flavor that says “summer.”
